Lexi DuPont

Skier

Raising the feminine frequency.

Lexi DuPont is a renowned big mountain freeskier with a passion for storytelling on and off the slopes. Hailing from Sun Valley, Idaho, Lexi was introduced to skiing at age two by her mother, Holley, who made history as one of the first women to land a backflip on skis.

Lexi’s lifelong dedication to skiing has honed her expertise across multiple disciplines. With numerous World Tours under her boots, she’s not only an accomplished competitive racer but also a fearless pursuer of first descents. Lexi’s trailblazing spirit has led her to achieve the first ski descents of the Arctic Circle in Svalbard, Norway, and the slopes of southeastern Alaska. Her ability to navigate the most challenging slopes with grace and ease has solidified her reputation as an athlete to watch. Lexi’s extraordinary feats have been captured in several Warren Miller and PoorBoyz films, showcasing her skill and courage to a global audience.

Though she’s skied across the world, Lexi’s greatest triumphs and tribulations have occurred in the big mountains of Haines, Alaska. Her deep connection with these storied peaks is documented in her short film, “Shaped by Descent,” which chronicles the decade-long journey to becoming the skier she is today. The film also highlights the incredible women who skied alongside her.

Empowering women is at the heart of Lexi’s mission. As a leader in the skiing community, she fiercley advocates for the next generation of female athletes. Lexi is the founder of the Sisters Summit festival, an invite-only event designed to unite women in the ski community and broader outdoor industry. Both a media competition and a series of off-the-hill workshops, the retreat is a culmination of Lexi’s interests and expertise.

Lexi uses skiing to explore the earth and empower women worldwide. No matter the challenge, she approaches even the most ordinary moments with the same joy and determination as that of a first descent down a big mountain.

“Do you operate from fear, or do you operate from love? We can do scary things, and when we operate from love, the fear goes away.” Lexi DuPont is, indeed, fearless.
