Ben Moon has been a longtime content creator and ambassador to Rivian, makers of game changing electric adventure vehicles, but the two hadn't found a project yet to celebrate Ben's own amazing life story. That changed when RXR Sports and Larry Parker (Rivian creative director) pulled in Jeff Johnson, an accomplished photographer and filmmaker uniquely qualified to tell Ben's story given their friendship. “The Lucky Ones” explores Ben's past and how his battle with cancer interrupted his plans, but hasn't stopped him from building a rich life, highlighted here by the kind of road trip with close friends that leave him feeling lucky and grateful.
The long-form film project served as the centerpiece of a campaign that featured a microsite with writing from Jeff, still imagery and social promotion across a variety of channels.
