Chris Blevins
Christopher Blevins, a Tokyo Olympian and World Champion, is at the center of a bright new era for American mountain biking.
Growing up, an early love for BMX evolved into a passion for mountain biking and road cycling. Christopher won US XC Mountain Bike Nationals every year from age 13 to 19 and won US Road Nationals when he was 16. As a professional rider, Chris has major race victories in mountain biking, road cycling, BMX and cyclocross. His ability to ride at a world class level across disciplines and has established himself as one of the most exciting new American talents the sport has seen in a long time.
The 2021 season brought a career milestone as Christopher took the UCI XC World Championship short track title held at Snowshoe, West Virginia, with an elegantly ridden race that made the cycling community take note. A few months later represented his country with a strong performance at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Now a member of the Specialized Mountain Bike Team, Christopher’s star continues to rise thanks to his incredible talent, undying work ethic, positive attitude, and the wins that have followed. He believes wholeheartedly in the power of two wheels and works within his Colorado community to get kids on bikes. When he isn’t deep in race season, Christopher lives in Durango and embraces his creativity through hip hop music and spoken word poetry.
